The Designer as Author: Voices and Visions exhibition was co-curated by Steven McCarthy and Cristina de Almeida in 1995 and displayed in 1996 at Northern Kentucky University. Anne Burdick gave a keynote address at the exhibit opening. 

The poster front has an essay by Steven McCarthy; the back has an essay by Cristina de Almeida.
