Wolfgang Weingart was interviewed by Elizabeth Resnick in July 1998 while he was in residence teaching a workshop at Maine College of Art, Portland, Maine.

The interview is in both Japanese and English. IDEA Magazine 283, 2000, pages 147–154. 

The photographs in the article were taken during a 3-day typography workshop taught by Weingart at Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, in March 2000.
