"The 1st Birthday party announcement was recognized in this year's 365: AIGA Annual Design Competition. Among 3,800 entries, this was one of only 182 works cited by the American Institute of Graphic Arts for outstanding design produced in 2008.
The design utilized the methodology of Kindergarten Gifts invented by education philosopher Friedrich Froebel in the mid-19th century.
