U.G. Sato (or Yuji Sato), is recognized as a one of the pioneers in utilizing art to address significant issues affecting our world, Sato strives to incorporate humor and use straightforward visual elements to let the audience grasp the underlying meaning quickly. In this particular poster, “Piece” was inspired by the damaged iron railings that children used to sneak into the playground.
