Paulaner  Munchen Bierdeckel

5

This is a bierdeckel from Germany. It is estimated to be from around the 1970's. On the front of the bierdeckel, a colorful image of a city is seen while a cloud floats above advertising the beer. This advertisement is used to create an idealistic world to make their drink more appealing and to lure people in more affectively.  The back of the bierdeckel display the logo for the brewery along with the name. These bierdeckels had multiple uses and were made out of a woodpulp so that they were cheap and easy to make. Compared to other bierdeckels at the time, this one has much more color and imagery to it which makes it stand out.
