This is the cover of the graphic novel that started in 2012, Apart from it being a graphic novel some of the scenes from the novel were also advertised on the TV at some of the food outlets. As I kid I used to enjoy those advertisements very much while having my burger.
In Maharashtra, India ‘maushi’ is an aunt. She could be the friendly domestic aid or the smiling fisherwoman whom you see every day. In the graphic novel Angry Maushi, this friendly maushi turns into a custodian of people’s rights and society’s welfare by fighting corruption and malpractices.
