A traditional manual typewriter was used to create humorous faces as possible visual marks for the Designer as Author: Voices and Visions exhibition. None was used, but the same tool was used to create the illustration for the Designer as Author: Voices and Visions poster, a dense build-up of letterforms that suggest a human figure.
