Original marked-up artwork for a commercial catalogue

194

Before computers… an airbrushed representation of an on-off valve, perhaps for a heating system, probably intended for a spare parts catalogue. The client was the firm of Mettetal in Paris. It was intended to be reproduced same size.

The document comes from the archives of the now defunct printing firm of B. Arnaud in Villeurbanne in the South-East of France who would have printed it litho. The archives are now in the collections of the Musée de l'imprimerie et de la communication graphique, Lyon (Micg inv 4721)
