I illustrated this image for Wee Wisdom Magazine in 1972, one of the first American children's magazines, published from 1893 - 1990 by Unity Church in Lee's Summit, MO.

This pen and ink drawing is an homage to my Great Grandmother, Elizabeth Daniels, an orphan, born in 1869 on or near the Ruins of Windsor, a storied plantation in Mississippi.
