Telop and Slide guide for WBAP-TV

658

This is a Telop guide. Telops were essentially slide projectors used in early TV as interstitial way to project images. This guide helps a designer understand the viewing area, which I'm assuming was smaller due to the distortion of the early screens around the edges.

This piece appears to be a piece of original artwork. I'm not sure if it would have been reproduced, or if this actual board would have been used on TV.
