"Cho Young Jae published a paper called ‘Study of the structure for the Hangul(the Korean alphabet) mechanization(typewriter)’ in the College of Fine Arts at Seoul National University journal FORM-ARCHIVES. He proposed a new letter font that is suitable for typewriter because square letter form was hard to use. To illustrate the beauty of Hangul, he designed a non tetragon module. Cho’s non tetragon research was proceeded with the follow-up studies by An Sang Soo, Seok Gum Ho, Lee Sang Cheol and by a variety of designers.
