This entry documents the cover and back art of “Little Boy: The Arts of Japan’s Exploding Subculture.” Edited and designed by famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, this book was released in conjunction with his exhibition at the Japanese Society Gallery in New York City in 2005. The book is 9.20 x 11.20 inches and published by Yale University Press and the Japan Society. This hardcover book has a white background and features the Japanese title as well as an illustration of the character Shinji, from Neon Genesis Evangelion, on the cover. On the back is a large image of Japanese manga character Doraemon, which takes up the entirety of the back cover.
