This archive is of the front and back cover from the March 3, 1995 release of Newtype. This edition was edited by Hiroki Tanaka, and the cover art was designed by an uncredited artist. On the front cover of the magazine is an original illustration of the “Wing Gundam” from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The inclusion of the Wing Gundam, and bold yellow text stating “What’s the GUNDAM?” invites readers to see the new information about Mobile Suit Gundam Wing which was released the following month in April of 1995. On the back of the magazine is a full-page advertisement for new Jpop cd albums from the Police Anime Taiho Shichauzo.
