Ukiyo-e print by utagawa Hiroshige that depicts the early morning scene of Nihonbashi, the starting point of the Tokaido road leading from Edo to Kyoto. This is one of the prints featured in the Stations One series.
The original print was essentially a visual advertisement for travel along the Tōkaidō.
