Black Man Break Free of the Sucking, Mother Fucking White Egg is one of many offset lithographic prints created and distributed by African American Master Artists-in Residency Program (AAMARP) founder Dana C. Chandler, Jr. This work features a raised Black fist, a strong symbol of Black power, liberation, and unity against oppression. It is also a call to action: the act of the fist breaking apart a white egg indicates that the current status quo is limiting, but more fragile than it appears—and that through liberation, resurrection into a new era of Pan-Africanism will follow. At the bottom of the print is the text “Black Man Break Free of the Sucking, Mother Fucking White Egg,” and Chandler Jr.'s signature, "Dana C. Chandler Jr. 1970."
