In a time when histories are being removed, hidden, and made illegal to teach in schools, your support for The People’s Graphic Design Archive is more important than ever. This is your archive and survives on your support.

FOR 10 YEARS, 5INCH WAS DEDICATED TO CREATING LIMITED EDITION, PRE-DESIGNED, SILK-SCREENED BLANK DVDs CDRs AND CASES FOR RECORDING ARTISTS TO USE AS DEMOS AND AUDIO EXCURSIONS.

Designers, artists and photographers used them to showcase their portfolios. Of course, they were also used to backup data, transfer files, burn MP3s, video or multi media presentations, or even create a family photo album of their digital shots.

Each CDR was printed as a limited run. Once the design sold out, it was gone forever. New designs were printed and posted on a regular basis and also carried solid color CDRs, DVDRs, with equally unique trigger cases in a variety of styles and colors, disc hubs, various storage items and t-shirts. Due to the advent of cloud computing, this media form became obsolete and the company was shut down in 2010.
