Book cover of OVERKILL

The book itself is a collection of works by Tomer Hanuka.

He was born in Israel and moved to New York to attend the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Most of his works in the book are vivid and unique, and the viewers can grasp them. The context itself is mostly about how human beings have ugly aspects when they really want to gain something, such as being loved or physical touch. There are also significant works that illustrate war scenes and conflicts that people are having, which express the unequal society that we actually have right now. Those works make the viewers uncomfortable, yet have chaotic feelings since the main objects and the background in the same work will never interconnect.

The cover design, a pie and an axe, also expresses OVERKILL. The pie can be cut with a knife, not an axe.
