Parting It Out: Writings on Graphic Design published by Wordshape.

The cover, designed by Ian Lynam, an American Graphic Designer that is based in Tokyo Japan, is a 3 layer cover that is vivid and playful. Ian Lynam runs this book's publisher Wordshape,  and is also a graphic design educator, researcher, and critic.

The book covers use 5 colors: white, black, violet and two tones of blue. Multiple kinds of typefaces and speech bubbles used on the cover design also illustrate different ideas and opinions combined together on one page. With a collection of essays, Ian Lynam reflects the concept and title of the book - “Parting It Out.”
