The 5th Dimension’s Greatest Hits Album Cover, designed by Ron Wolin. The 5th Dimension is known for their soul music, with hits like Aquarius/Let the Sunshine in which is featured on this Greatest Hits compilation album. They were featured at the 1969 Harlem Cultural Music Festival in New York, and as a band they received criticism for sounding ‘white’. They responded with saying that they sound how they sound. At the time around the civil rights movement, and still to today, this was powerful as it showed that there music just sounds how it sounds, and there isn't a label that can be attached to them like that.
The cover features all 5 band members, with the back featuring the same image with a pop art look to it. The inside of the cover features a track list and credits to all the individual band members, the producers, other musicians contributions, the designer, and photographer. There are multiple typefaces such as a sans serif and a bolder black sans serif at the bottom of the inside cover reading Soul City Records.
