Movement -New Order 

Movement is the debut studio album by the British rock band New Order, released on November 13, 1981, by Factory Records. The album cover was designed by English art director and designer Peter Saville, known for his work with Factory Records. The cover reflects Saville's signature minimalist style, using simple typography and geometric shapes.

The design features geometric lines that, while minimalist, hold significant symbolic meaning. The three lines at the top form a horizontal "F," representing Factory Records , while the two lines at the bottom form an "L," which also acts as the Roman numeral 50, referencing the album’s original catalogue number, FACT 50.

This cover design not only integrates the band’s and record label’s identity but also echoes New Order's evolving musical style, aligning with the experimental tone of the album and foreshadowing the band's future direction in electronic music.
