23

“にほんごであそぼ” is a TV program broadcast on NHK since 2003, designed to help children develop a sense of the Japanese language. Taku Sato, a renowned graphic designer packaging designer, and art director, served as the program's art director. This well-known educational show is filled with innovative ideas that spark children's interest in design and also appeal to adults watching with them. He primarily uses Hiragana creating a seemingly simple design, but the vibrant colors make learning feel joyful. Additionally, the words are printed on Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game, which encourages children to learn Japanese in an engaging way."
