Jūlijs Madernieks, Ornaments (1913)

These are a series of reproductions of original typefaces from the Jūlijs Madernieks’ book Ornament, in which he developed intricate typefaces that reflected Latvian culture and identity (IMMA). Madernieks was a Latvian designer whose work often took inspiration from traditional textiles (RSDA).
