Lou Reed by Stefan Sagmeister

4

Lou Reed was created by Stefan Sagmeister and photographed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. This print piece was made for Lou Reed's album, “Set the Twilight Reeling”. The album features a deep, blue-tinted case with a printed portrait of musician Lou Reed on the front cover. When opening the case, the back cover, the CD design, and the tray all come together to form an eclipse diagram that symbolizes the “ultimate twilight.” The typographic style inside the case reflects the content that the lyrics hold.
