This is the 2011 quarter 4 magazine cover for the UNC Charlotte Alumni and Friends Magazine. This magazine is still ongoing, but has changed its name to just the UNC Charlotte Magazine. The cover illustration references a story in the magazine about a UNC Charlotte Alumni named Adrienne Barnett. Barnett recreated the journey by the Freedom Riders from Washington D.C. to New Orleans to protest segregation on her motorcycle.
