The Tiger Advantage Embosser spearheaded braille-capable graphic printing with its series of embossers. These embossers, released by ViewPlus Technologies, were significant because they facilitated communication of both text and graphics to sight-impaired users by printing embossed braille on paper. The Tiger Advantage was the first of its kind to create dotted-line graphics, meaning that graphics could be interpreted through touch. The speed of these embossers was also revolutionary, as they expelled sheets of embossed design at roughly the same pace as a regular printer, making them extremely convenient.
