Romare Bearden Mint Museum Exhibition Billboard

3

In 2011, during the marketing for the Romare Bearden: Southern Recollections exhibition, the Mint Museum in Uptown Charlotte purchased billboards around the city to promote. Around this time they also hired musicians to play in front of the billboard and they were dressed to match the figures within the works. This is significant because this is one of the larger exhibitions the Mint Museum Uptown location has been hosting since its opening in 2010!
