Simple 2-layer print with a patterned border and type.
The use of the thick grid-y border could easily be a device to frame a series of photos. The personality of the image and type are firmly set in the secure grid of the neutral border.
1950s hotel ephemera – approx 130mm x 100mm. Gummed on back, so it may be a sticker for postage/collectors. From an old holiday album, page dated 1956
Typeface is ‘Atrax' by Heinrich Jost for Bauer, 1926. Alternate ‘A’ and some funky letter spacing used.
