Yukimasa Okumura is an art director, graphic designer, and artist. He sketched and took photos with a 6x6 film camera, then returned to Tokyo for production. He traced selected photos with ink and a fine brush. Born in 1947, he believed that committing to Hiroshima's theme required labor rather than self-expression.
