A flag used by the only all-Black Abraham Lincoln Post of the National Indian War Veterans, composed of veterans of the four "Buffalo Soldier" army regiments: the 9th and 10th Cavalry, and the 24th and 25th Infantry. This chapter was formed in 1929, and the flag dates from before the admission of Alaska and Hawaii to the Union in 1959.
