Hakone; Kosui箱根 湖水図

10

This print was created by Utagawa Hiroshige in the Edo period during 1833–34. Hiroshige produced this woodblock print using ink and color on paper. The artwork portrays Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji, which provide amazing landscapes, and the mountain as a challenging adventure. This work shows the excellent way in which Hiroshige captured nature in his graphic compositions.
