Russell Mills Within/Without (1991) was organized with my MassArt Illustration faculty colleague, Teresa Flavin. Russell Mills is a British graphic designer who uses his fine art to illustrate commercial products. The exhibition displayed commercial work and fine art to explore the symbiotic relationship between graphic design and fine arts.

The exhibition was sponsored by Virgin Airlines and displayed at the Huntington Gallery, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, September 9 – October 16, 1991.
