Corita Kent (1918–1986) was an American artist, educator, and advocate for social justice. Known for vibrant serigraphs, she blended pop culture and activism, addressing themes like peace and equality. As a nun, she taught at Immaculate Heart College, inspiring students to use art for positive change.

Kent borrowed the slogan of the Richfield Oil Corporation and fused it with the preaching of activist priest Daniel Berrigan.
