Blade Runner
John Alvin created the artwork and poster for the movie Blade Runner in 1982. Funny enough, Alvin was not the first choice to design the poster, but his creative ideas of including architecture and "heavy light" to add a film noir atmosphere appealed to Ridley Scott (the director.) This poster became a classic in the sci-fi movie genre and stands the test of time.
