MUJI Logotype, Seiyu

Ikko Tanaka, a Japanese Graphic designer, was active from the 1950s until he died in 2002. He was a famous designer in Japan well known for having a more modern design. His works are well-known, and some still exist, such as the design of the Muji company logo. The logo was designed in the 1980s  with a white background and bold black font, which is still used today. The simplicity of this logo expresses the company's strategy of keeping up with the aesthetic of Muji products. which are known for their minimalistic design.
