“In Memory of Dimitar Trendafilov” Exhibition

"Before leaving our material world, Dimitar Trendafilov planned this exhibition. In the year when he would turn 80, his friends, colleagues, followers and students fulfilled his dream and worshiped his work. The exhibition brings together calligraphies, serigraphs and lithographs of Dimitar Trendafilov in a unique collection of friends of the artist. In memory of the teacher, artist and man Dimitar Trendafilov (1937-2016), the exhibition includes over 50 of his works from different periods in his work. It is interesting that in the exhibition we can see the last 5 works of Dimitar Trendafilov, whose printing was funded by the organizers specifically for the event. 'Dimitar Trendafilov is an author whose work goes on the thin edge between abstraction and surrealism.
