1970s Vintage Grand Canyon Postcard

8

This item is a vintage Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona Postcard.  It is highly photographic with small typography in the bottom right corner.  The photography features an oblique view from near Toroweap Point, where the Colorado River winds snake through the Middle Granite Gorge in Grand Canyon National Park.

This is a great item to document for graphic design history because the photograph was produced by Josef Muench. It is an example of heavy photographic design style.  Although it is not one of the most outdated postcards, it is still a prime example of past postcard styles.
