Checkers 

Checkers is a timeless game that has been used for generations as a family past time. This particular checkers box gives designers a glimpse into package design during the 1970s. The design is photography based, as there is a large photograph of a checkers board on the top of the box, bleeding over all four sides of the box. The typography is very simple—a sans serif typeface set in the top right corner of the box. On the left side of the box, there is a column filled with information about the game, like the age range and production information. Looking at this checkers box gives designers the chance to study 1970s packaging design.
