Postcard of Cover for Vanity Fair

Designed in July 1916, this postcard is on the cover of Vanity Fair.  This cover was from the first version of Vanity Fair which existed from 1914 to 1936. It is in the style of Art Nouveau. It illustrates a woman on the beach.  The postcard was purchased from the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. Not only is it a treasure of the Art Nouveau period, but it is also an artifact from the first years of Vanity Fair.
