LA Design History: Marion Sampler

1019
"Prof. Archie Boston interviewed, and videotaped 20 Outstanding Los Angeles Graphic Designers in 1986 as a sabbatical leave project. He asked such questions as: What school did you attend? Who were your Idols? What is your philosophy of design? What is your advice to design students and teachers? How would you like to be remembered? The designers also gave a studio tour, and some showed examples of their work. There was no video documentation of graphic designers in Los Angeles during that time. These videotapes have been transferred to DVDs for better resolution, and are from 20 minutes to 58 minutes. These documentaries are a visual history of graphic design in Los Angeles."—https://losangeles.aiga.org/
