The cover showcases the use of motion controls being used as a steering wheel with Mario And Luigi Driving using the Wii wheel attachment. This design has the karts be invisible, with hints of a vehicle shown through the silhouette of a kart below Mario and Luigi along with their figures being meant to simulate being seated in a kart.
