Taylor & Ng Bear Orgy Mug 

Win Ng (1936-1991) was an multidisciplinary artist who illustrated kitchenware for Taylor & Ng.

His artwork is in the collections of the Smithsonian; The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; Victoria & Albert Museum; Museum of Contemporary Crafts; San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art; Museum of Art and Design; and the de Young Museum. 

Ng was openly gay. His life partner was Spaulding Taylor, artist and co-founder of  Taylor & Ng. 

Taylor & Ng is a San Francisco-based home goods and kitchenware company founded in the 1970s. Known for their whimsical and often risqué designs, they gained popularity with their animal-themed mugs and kitchen accessories. The archivist of this item had the mug in their home growing up and didn't realize what the bears were doing for quite some time.
