Only You
The last forest fire prevention campaign while Ronald Reagan was in office features an image of Smokey the Bear pointing directly at the viewer. The poster is designed to resemble the iconic World War I recruitment poster featuring a personification of Uncle Sam. The text uses a shortened version of Smokey the Bear's typical message: “Only you can prevent forest fires.”
