Life's Little Treasure Book on Joy
Life’s Little Treasure Book on Joy, is a 3x4 inch, pocket-fitting book made to be on you when you need it. Within a collection of ‘life’s little treasure” books, this book guides, advises, and illustrates specifically on what brings joy. Brown designed an experience within the collection that allows the reader to have it at all times because no one knows when motivation and guidance is wanted.
H. Jackson Brown Jr., the author of Life’s Little Treasure Book on Joy and many other small format books, has found a size exemplifies the purpose of the book, but the format of a miniature book is nothing new. Miniature books were produced for personal convenience as early as the 16th century. Many of these miniature books were prayer books made for very personal use. Life’s Little Treasure Book On Joy feels like a small prayer book but more inclusive. It is able to serve to more specific purpose (finding joy) but to broader audience.
Life’s Little Treasure Book on Joy is a design is confident about their purpose. Its small size is bold; it shows its purpose clearly and hones in on it. The medium on which the design is placed onto is just as important as the design itself. Put that in a treasure book.
