Typography in Asia: A view from Tokyo Exhibition Poster

This is an exhibition poster and cover designed by and for Katsumi Asaba. Asaba explores various aspects of writing style, such as the arrangement of letters and their connection to Asian culture. He is particularly interested in Tokyo, where there are many innovative and creative approaches to using writing in design. This poster, in particular, features unique typography blending contemporary elements. Additionally, the character shapes are more rounded yet distinctive. They are also aligned on lines, creating some organization for the typefaces.
