This is a cover of a magazine called “Ryuko Tsushin” published in Fall 2010 in Japan. The cover featured Mao Asada, one the most famous female Japanese figure skaters of all time. This piece is significant as this was a special edition which celebrated the 100th anniversary of WWD NY. The director of this exact piece was done by Leslie Kee and interestingly this cover uses at least 6 different fonts which grasp the readers’ attention despite being simple and minimalistic.
