Greetings from Scenic Southern Indiana Postcard

9

Large letter Linen postcard from Southern Indiana, USA posted to Lexington, Kentucky on October 19th, 1951. Published by Curt Teich & Co. sometime in the 1940s. The postcard measures at 5.5 inches by 3.5 inches. On one side of the postcard, in the upper left corner,    “Southern Indiana” is used to list out various significant locations in the area. The significance of the postcard can be denoted from the bright colors and imagery on the front of the postcard. This punchy illustration was often the first look of the location that the receiver would have been exposed to, encouraging them to visit and reminding them that the sender was thinking of them.
