KEY COFFEE LOGO

10

Key Coffee is one of Japan's primary coffee growers and distributors today. While walking the streets of Tokyo, you may see a sign with the logo of Key Coffee on it standing in front of an old-fashioned cafe, as Key Coffee once was a dominating force in the cafe industry around the 1970s in Tokyo. The eye-catching key standing in the center of the logo represents the notion that Key Coffee will be the key that opens new doors to a new dietary culture and higher standards of food quality in the Japanese nation. This idea behind the logo was created by the founder of Key Coffee, Bunji Shibata, but it is unknown who created the logo itself. The yellow lettering pops out in the darker blue backdrop and will catch any ongoing pedestrian's eye. Key Coffee is still popular to this day, and you can purchase their coffee beans even at convenience stores or supermarkets in Japan.
