Title:  Harems et musulmanes d'Égypte; :
lettres by Eugénie Le Brun

In her book, Le Brun talks about the marital rights of muslim women. In her interest on religious study and her conversion to Islam, she believed that popular culture had forced or rather influenced the belief of people in seeing Islam as more than a religion. It was painted that requirements placed upon women like covering their face was rather a choice contrary to common belief that it was compulsory. This was broadly discussed in her book.
