This poster was created for the Matsuzakaya Department Store. There is a huge contrast between the use of dark green and purple. Cut off the page are flowers that are fading into the poster. The curve of the flowers creates an illusion of the stem being the black curve. Ikko Tanaka designed many pieces for other department stores like Seibu Department Stores and even Issey Miyake fashion company.
