BRISTOL Almanac (Puerto Rico 2013 Edition)

The Lanman and Kemp company was established in 1808 and introduced its flagship product, Florida Water. Florida Water is a elixir that was used as a blanket remedy for just about everything during the 1800s. The product is still produced to this day as a perfume/cologne, alongside other hair, bath, and body products. In 1832, L&K published the first edition of the BRISTOL Almanac.

During colonial times, almanacs were very important to people's day to day lives because they held information like, weather, tides, eclipses, and medicinal remedies; which Florida Water claimed to be.  The BRISTOL Almanac was given to citizens, especially farmers, as hub for information and some even used them as journals. But BRISTOL Almanac also served as an advertisement for L&K's products. After 200-plus years in business, L&K still releases the annual almanac, and this images is an example of the Puerto Rico 2013 Edition.
